Judith-Anne MacKenzie is a barrister and has been an academic, Assistant Parliamentary Counsel, and a legal advisor to the DTI and the Department for Transport, Local Government and the Regions. She is now working as a member of the Government Legal Service in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, as Divisional Manager of the local government and local government elections lawyers.
