No Win No Fee Claims

Many solicitors work on a ‘no-win, no-fee’ basis. This means that if you pursue an injury claim and lose, you will not have to pay any solicitor’s fees. If you win your case you will be responsible for the solicitor’s fees, but usually these are recovered from the losing side.

Because solicitors often recover their fees in this way, you can receive 100% of the compensation awarded to you.

Many solicitors also take out an ‘after the event’ insurance policy on your behalf. This means that if you lose, you are insured against paying the other side’s legal costs and any other fees incurred during the course of the case (e.g. fees for obtaining medical reports).

If you think you are entitled to make an injury claim, seek the advice of a specialist solicitor who can advise you on no-win, no-fee agreements.
